Upgrade Instructions
Upgrade an existing version
of GemPro (to
)
To upgrade your existing GemPro software,
please follow the steps below.

Make a note
of the current location for GemPro. If you are not sure where
GemPro is installed, click
here for instructions.

Make a
back-up or copy of your GemPro and Data Folder.

Click this
link to Install
GemPro. (You will require
a connection to the Internet throughout the upgrade process).

In the File
Download window that appears, choose "Run program from its
current location" and then click "OK", or click the
"Open" button (depending on your version of Internet
Explorer).

The
Installation Program will initialise and the display a Welcome screen.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

The setup
program should detect that you have a previous version of GemPro
installed and ask you to choose from the options depicted in the
following screen.

Click Yes
to upgrade your existing installation of GemPro and to display the
next screen.

Confirm that
the Destination Folder is the same as the intended installation of
GemPro you are upgrading and click the Next button. If
the Destination Folder path is not correct, click the Browse button
and enter the correct destination path.

Follow the on-screen instructions to
complete the upgrade process.

When the
upgrade of GemPro has completed, GemPro will automatically start.
