1. Insert the GemPro CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive.  The setup program should start automatically.
2. If the setup program does not automatically start, then please go to What if the Set-up Program does not Start Automatically . 
3. The set-up program will search for an existing installation of GemPro.  If a previous installation is found then you can select a folder from the list to update your existing program.  If it is a new install then you will have the option to set up GemPro in the default folder, or you can click the Browse button to install GemPro in another folder of your choice.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts and instructions to complete the installation procedure.
5. When the installation has been successfully completed, the GemPro program will automatically start.  For a new installation you will be prompted to enter your Client ID.   This should have been provided to you with  your CD or via e-Mail.  If there is not already an installed database then you will be prompted to install the Database from the CD-ROM .  For instructions on installing the database please refer to Installing Historical Data from CD-ROM.
