It is possible to re-build the data grid from the actual data files.  This feature is only applicable for MetaStock compatible format and, in most cases, should only be completed when you are instructed to do so by your data service provider.

 

To rebuild your Portfolio Grid (when instructed by support) complete the following:

 

• Launch GemPro and click the Options menu item and select the Full Menu item.
• Click the File menu item, then click Import Data Details.  The following screen should appear.

       

• Select the Exchange and data stream (Stocks, Indices, Futures Contracts etc.) that you would like to import.  The folders applicable for the selected data stream will appear in the Directory List area on the right.
• Click the Import button.

When the importation process has finished, the Portfolio Grid for the selected Data Stream will have been re-built using your datafiles.  To rebuild additional data streams, repeat the process as outlined above.
